The Battery Competence Center is the innovation program for companies, knowledge institutes and organizations that want to work together to acquire knowledge and develop skills in the field of battery technology. The Chemelot Circular Hub is an ambitious transition program and investment agenda to enable the shift towards a net zero circular chemistry, aiming at becoming Europe’s first and leading circular hub. The program focuses on technological innovation, state-of-the-art infrastructure, human capital and digitalisation, and the inclusion of citizens and other stakeholders.
This program has been developed and is being implemented by a triple helix partnership comprising TNO, Maastricht University, Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, Vista college, DSM, Brightlands Chemelot Campus, Sabic, Fibrant, Chemelot Industrial Park, the Green Chemistry New Economy platform, the municipality of SIttard-Geleen, the province of Limburg and the investment agency LIOF. Automotive Campus
The Automotive Campus in Helmond - located in the Brainport Region - is the national and international hotspot, meeting point and place of business in the field of automotive (technology) and smart mobility. The Automotive Campus has over 1250 people – including around 600 students – working on the mobility solutions of the future. They do so at leading automotive businesses, knowledge institutes, innovative start-ups, and educational institutes. In barely fifteen years, the campus has grown into the top national and international hotspot when it comes to green mobility and smart mobility. Read More
